The ITmon agent generates daily logs of the effective usage time of each computer. This feature makes it possible to know the time a station was on along with the total inactivity time. This information is useful for assessing whether a computer is being underutilized or not.
Monitoring
Active monitoring of CPU usage and network traffic on workstations, with email notifications about excessive resource usage, enabling proactive detection of potential problems.
Current/Total Idle Time
Allows you to check how long a machine has been inactive (without mouse movements or keyboard input). All stations with the ITmon agent active record the time they were powered on, as well as the inactivity time. It is possible to set a start date for the time count to begin.
Dashboard
Through a graphical panel, this feature allows instant monitoring of various system information.
Productivity Monitoring
With ITmon's productivity monitoring feature, you can know the exact time your employees spend on each application (how many keystrokes, how many mouse clicks in each application, and idle time). With this information, you can determine if your employees are spending their time on work-related activities or other activities.
Home Office Monitoring
With the Covid-19 pandemic, a new scenario has emerged: Many employees have started working from home, and the trend is for the use of this new work methodology to increase and become permanent, as working from home has proven to be not only a viable but also an effective option for many sectors. Given this new reality, how can you monitor the activities and efficiency of work performed from home? ITmon has the solution! Now, in addition to monitoring all activity logs of an employee in a terminal session (RDP), it's also possible to remotely monitor and control a computer, as well as obtain all inventory data of the hardware and software installed on that computer* that the employee is using at home. In other words, "Full Control" remains even if the computer being used is outside the company premises or outside the corporate network. *In these cases, it is assumed that the computer was provided by the company for the employee's professional use.

Network Traffic Monitoring
Is your network and/or internet access slow, but you don't know who's downloading or transferring that huge file to the server that's consuming your internet connection or bandwidth? This new feature allows you to easily and quickly identify who is consuming your network resources. Simply select the computers you want to monitor and get real-time information on the volume of data entering and leaving their respective network adapters. Once you've identified the "culprit," simply double-click to view all the processes and connections the machine is making to the internet and other computers on the network.
User & System Admin
Scheduled Auto-Shutdown
Schedules the automatic shutdown of any computer. The scheduler allows you to specify the date, time, and frequency of shutdown (once only, daily, weekly, monthly, and specific days of the week). It is also possible to set an inactivity period to be observed, as well as send a notification message so that the user can save their work before the shutdown occurs.
Session Manager
Allows the management of sessions (remote connections) on servers (including Terminal Services) and workstations, enabling control and actions such as logging off one or more users, disconnecting users, sending messages, capturing screenshots of active sessions and interacting with them. This feature is extremely useful because it allows you to view what is happening in user sessions, something that, due to the remote connection, was previously hidden from administrators and the support team.
Domain Users
This function allows you to view a complete list of users registered in Active Directory (AD) with key information associated with each user, such as: account creation date, last logon date, number of days without logging into the network, whether the account expires or has expired, whether it is locked, whether it is active, date of last password change, etc. This feature is extremely useful, especially during audits, as it provides accurate information about the current status of user accounts.
Process List
A very useful feature that gathers real-time information in a single window about active processes (with the possibility of terminating one or more processes at once), CPU usage, memory, and network traffic (similar to the Windows Task Manager). Information about started sessions, open files, network connections, local shares, services, local groups/accounts, and system events is also available. In each function, it's possible to interact with the displayed information. For example, in the services function, it's possible to stop, start, and change the startup mode of a specific service.
Registry Search
Allows you to search, create, modify, and delete values in the Windows registry, as well as create and delete entry keys. This feature is extremely powerful and, since it manipulates the system registry, should be used with great caution.
Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)
This feature allows users in the company domain (Active Directory) to automatically unlock and/or change the password of their respective access accounts (network login) without needing to contact technical support or network administrators.
Windows Services
Allows you to create, start, stop, remove, check the status, and change the startup mode of a specific service.
Event Viewer
Allows you to search the remote machine's log system, returning recorded events.
Local Accounts/Groups
Allows management of local accounts/groups, with the ability to create/delete accounts and groups, set/change passwords, move from one group to another, and list the members of a specific group.
Domain Users (User Properties)
Complementing the previous feature, this function allows you to unlock accounts, change passwords, etc., simply and quickly, without needing to access the AD server or the user management console.
Running Process
Allows you to check if a specific program/process is running by providing all or part of its name.
Terminate Process
Allows you to terminate a specific running process by providing all or part of its name.
WMI Query
Allows querying information about WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) classes.
Computer Identification
Allows you to rename the computer, join a domain or workgroup, and change network adapter settings such as IP address, network mask, default gateway, DNS, and enable/disable DHCP.
Recording Data in Active Directory (AD)
This function allows you to record user account information directly into AD fields. It is useful for quickly and securely updating user information, such as updating HR information from an ERP system (department, function, etc.) to AD, ensuring the information is consistent. To do this, simply generate a text/CSV file with the search field in the first column (e.g., sAMAccountName), followed by the other columns of the fields, along with the respective data to be updated starting from the second row.
Specialized Monitoring
Screen Recording
Allows video recording with audio of the remote screen in mp4 format. With this powerful feature, it's possible to create "triggers" based on words or phrases contained in the titles of Windows windows, so that recording starts automatically when the condition is met and also ends automatically when the condition no longer exists.
Screenshot*
Instantly captures and displays the remote screen (Screenshot) with updates at defined intervals. In this function, it is possible to save the captured content in a specific folder, as well as interact with the remote station through features such as capturing and/or sending the clipboard, and transmitting mouse and keyboard events.
Auto-Capture*
With this feature enabled, the remote station will autonomously take a screenshot at predefined intervals, saving them to a specific folder. This feature will remain active even if the remote machine is turned off and on again, until the function is disabled through the ITmon console.
Print Monitor
Monitor all printouts made by users. This feature allows you to track printing costs by user, department, printer, or specific print server, based on the type of paper used and the type of printing (color or monochrome). This feature uses the Windows Spooler service to obtain print information, so it is possible to know the time, number of pages, and name of printed documents**.
Internet Browsing Log
Obtain a log of all websites visited by users and their respective times. This feature eliminates the need for a proxy to obtain browsing history, as it uses the content of the browser's address bar to obtain this information.
Webcam Viewing/Auto-Capture*
It is now possible to view and save still images (snapshots) from the webcam installed on the remote workstation.
Print Quota Control
In addition to the existing feature that allows you to record all print jobs, ITmon now offers print quota control, where you can determine the number of prints (color and/or monochrome pages) that a specific employee or department can print. Once the stipulated quantity is reached, the system will prevent further printing.
File Monitoring
Now you can know everything that happens on your computer's storage devices, whether they are hard drives or pen drives. The following events are logged for files and folders: Creation, modification, renaming, deletion. Insertion and removal of USB storage devices are also logged. Once activated, logs are recorded locally with the option to be copied to a data repository folder. It is also possible to view events in real time.
Key Logger*
Allows capturing keyboard events, generating a log of all keys pressed.
Inventory & Utilities
Explore
Allows exploring files and folders on remote disk drives.
Software Installed
This function allows you to quickly check if a specific software is installed by providing only part of the desired software name.
File Operations
Allows you to check the existence of a specific file; search for information within files; delete folders and files; set permissions; Get, add, and delete network mappings; create and remove local shares.
Miscellaneous
Allows you to set the Internet Explorer (IE) browser homepage; enable and disable some advanced IE browser properties (e.g., block the "Connections" tab or prevent changes to the "Proxy" field); block and unblock the execution of a specific program; enable and disable the Task Manager.
Windows Version
Retrieves the operating system version.
Windows Key
Retrieves the Windows installation key.
Office Key
Retrieves the Microsoft Office installation key.
System Date
Returns detailed information about the local time zone, including the start and end of daylight saving time, if applicable.
Device Management
This powerful new feature allows you to view all computer devices individually and globally, as well as offering the possibility to remotely block and unblock specific devices or groups of devices. In conjunction with this new functionality, ITmon also monitors and logs the connection and disconnection of Bluetooth devices and the introduction of new devices to the system, such as printers, smart card readers, smartphones, etc.
Opening/Handling Support Tickets via Email
Now it's possible to complete the entire HelpDesk system process via email, from opening a new ticket, through support/interaction with the requester, to closing and assigning a rating. This feature aims to bring more ease and practicality to the handling of technical support tickets.
Notifier
System Notifier. This feature allows you to schedule alerts or notifications that users must read and, optionally, accept. A typical example of using this feature is in the dissemination of the company's "Computer Usage Policy," where, upon user login, they must read and accept (digitally sign) the terms presented. If the user does not agree with the document, they can optionally be forced to log off the computer, preventing them from continuing to use the equipment until the displayed document is effectively read and accepted. All data related to a specific dissemination campaign, including user "acceptances" with their respective dates, number of cancellations, and document views, are stored in the ITmon database and can be consulted at any time.
** The accuracy of the print information obtained is strictly linked to the accuracy of the Spooler service provided by Windows.
